Hernandez has not been named a suspect and police refuse to comment on the status of the investigation. However, this has brought up a not so skeleton free past and it has people wondering about our star tight end. Apparently back in February Alexander S. Bradley filed a civil suite against Hernandez after he was shot and lost an eye after an alleged accidental shooting by Hernandez. The case was dropped due to alleged in accuracies however it is due to be re-filed in a Florida court later this week.
Aaron Hernandez was a fourth round pick for the Pats back in 2010. He should have gone in the first or second round but his marijuana use caused him to fail drug tests while playing at University of Florida. Some say this shame spiral started after the sudden death of his father in 2006 when he was only a junior in high school.
On the field Hernandez has been a star with a combined 175 catches, 1,956 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns in his first three professional seasons. 2011 was a breakout year for him with with 79 catches for 910 yards and seven touchdowns.
Lets hope that Aaron Hernandez is not turning into the Amanda Bynes of football! However, one scandal after another...lets just say it doesn't look good for Aaron. I'm sure in the coming weeks we will find out that he is back smoking marijuana too, as drug use and scandal seems to go hand in hand...right Amanda?
Does Coach Billichick know something we don't? Did he see the scandal in Hernandez's future and maybe that's why he brought Tebow here...tight end potential perhaps?? Well it is my prediction that Tebow will be a tight end and that's all I have to say about that!
