A Royal Baby, Amanda Bynes Goes to Jail...Lots to Discuss!

Hi All! I apologize for my absence.  I had a bout with pneumonia and a hospital stay but i'm back and better than ever.  A lot has happened in the world!

Royal Baby Arrives:

On Monday July 22 Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William, welcomed a baby boy to the Royal family. The baby weighed in at 8lbs 6oz. Prince William was present for the birth.  All eyes were on the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's hospital waiting for the new family to emerge on Tuesday. Finally they emerged graceful and beaming with their new bundle of joy! Now it is off to Kensington Palace while we all await a name for the new air to the throne!

I find this story so sad! Former child star Amanda Bynes has been on a shame spiral lately.  Crazy twitter rants and racy pictures as well as a run in with the law in New York where she allegedly threw a bong out a window.  Now Amanda has taken her crazy out west! On Monday July 22 she was arrested and hospitalized in Thousand Oaks California. She placed on what is called a 5150 hold, which means she was  taken into custody for her own safety under California's Welfare and Institutions Code.  Usually these holds only last 72hours although it has been reported that authorities may seek to have Amanda's extended for two weeks!

 Deputies responded to a home in the 200 block of Avenida De Los Arboles about 8:46 p.m.
"There was a call about a small fire that she'd apparently set in front of the residence, kind of out on a sidewalk on the concrete," said Sgt. Eric Buschow. "It wasn't an attempt to burn down the house or anything." Buschow said the fire did not damage the property.


Patriots Coach Bill Belichick's First Press Conference since Aaron Hernandez Arrest:

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will address the media for the first time since Aaron Hernandez was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.  Hernandez is also being looked at in connection with two other unsolved murders in Boston in 2012.  The Patriots let Hernandez go very shortly after his arrest in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd, which was almost a month ago.  Belichick has not been heard from but with training camp starting in just two days a press conference has to happen.  The questions will be asked but the speculation on how or if he will answer them remains! The press conference is schedule for 1:45pm, est., today (Wednesday July 24).
