Kim & Kanye Engaged!

It is being reported that Kanye West put a ring on it! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly engaged.  This past Monday Kim celebrated her 33^rd birthday and that is when Kanye is rumored to have popped the question! Kanye apparently rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco and proposed in front of friends and family with a 50 piece orchestra providing the background music! In case you were wondering the ring is a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.  The couples have “officially” been dating since April 2012 and are parents to 4 month old daughter North.

Kris & Bruce Jenner Confirm Split!

After 22 years marriage Olympic great Bruce Jenner and Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, have called it quits.  In a joint statement released via E! News they said, ""We are living separately and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Rumors of a split have been swirling for months.  I have to say that anyone who watched their reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, probably isn't that surprised! I mean I've only watched a handful of episodes and I saw that coming a mile away! 

According to TMZ Bruce is living in Malibu while Kris is in the family home in Calabasas with the couple's two daughters Kendall and Kylie.

Khloe & Lamar...together forever???

 

This summer has been filled with rumors of infidelity by Khloe Kardashian Odom's husband Lamar Odom.  It seems as if the paparazzi and gossip columnists are taking every little thing as a sign that they are splitting up.  "Uh Oh Khloe worked out without a wedding ring it must be over!" or "Lamar stayed at a hotel that's it!"  They fail to mention that fact that Lamar often stays at hotels when Khloe is filming her family's reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians. As for not wearing her ring...have you seen the size of it! Check it out in the pic below, I wouldn't want to risk it falling off of my sweaty finger.  

 I agree with the fact that celebrities, in a sense, give up their private life in order to be a celebrity.  I mean it is because they have fans that they are able to live the lifestyles they live, and fans want to know about them.  But I feel like the harder they try to keep things quiet the more it fuels controversy.  I mean look at people like Khloe's famous sister Kim and her boyfriend Kayne West.  West has had some pretty public physical run-ins with paparazzi since he started dating Kim.  Then to add fuel to the fire Kim recently gave birth to the couple's first child, North West.  This has caused the paparazzi to swarm like bees everywhere they go.  However, being so secretive only causes them to want it more in my opinion.  I mean look at Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton.  They came out of the hospital, stood there with thier baby, and let the paparazzi take their photos.  Then they got in their car and drove away.  That was it...no drama, no fist fights.  

 

Anyway, back to Khloe.  She has remained tight lipped about this cheating scandal.  According to inside sources she "doesn't want to dignify the rumors with an answer."  Well honey given your celebrity status you are just adding fuel to the fire.  Personally I love Khloe and Lamar and I am rooting for them.  But Khloe if you want to stop the insanity then you better start speaking up!

The Celeb baby buzz - Kim & Kanye

We started our week with the arrival of the Kimye bundle of joy! Kim Kardashian  and Kayne West welcomed a baby girl on Sunday (Father's Day). Then the wait was on while everyone speculated what the name would be. The family tweeted about the bundle of joy but was sure to ask for "privacy". It's so ridiculous to me that they create a media frenzy then ask for privacy. By they I mean celebrities in general. While yes I believe that there should me a limit but they also have to understand they are a public figure. They can't just enjoy the spoils. They love the notoriety, big money, and free stuff but then complain that people want to know about their lives. If people didn't want to know then you would be an irrelevant Joe Shmoe with an average job and bills to pay. 

I cant help but think of other celebs who go about it the right way. They come out of the hospital, baby in hand, take a photo then go on their peaceful way. No photo selling. No camera people in bushes or confrontations with paparazzi. 

It is my opinion that attention seekers are the ones who cover it under a shroud of secrecy; which does nothing but create curiosity! These same people cry, "oh poor me" and turn around and sell their baby's photos for millions!  

I'm sure it won't be long before we hear that Kim and Kanye sold the first pics to an US Weekly type magazine. The sneak peek of baby North West (as that is what they finally decided to name her) will fetch a hefty sum I'm sure. 

Even the name they chose is attention seeking!
