Hernandez Case: Police Search Home in Bristol, CT & Franklin, MA. Additional Person in Custody

On Wednesday morning former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was taken into custody.  Later that afternoon he was arraigned and charged with first degree murder and five gun related charges. Many guns were found in Hernandez's home however, the murder weapon has yet to be discovered.

 Thursday morning police in Bristol, CT searched a home in connection with this case.  The home is reportedly owned by Aaron Hernandez's uncle.  Police were seen photographing items and taking some items from the home. 

There have also been reports of an apartment in Franklin, MA being searched. A vehicle was also taken into custody by police as a result of that search in Franklin. 

An additional person, Carlos Ortiz,27, was arrested late Wednesday night in connection with this case.  Ortiz is being held on $1.5 million bail.
